So I decided that if enemies were drawn using characters when in formation, and sprites used elsewhere, there would be plenty of sprites available using a slightly modified version of Shallan's multiplexor. Having looked at the NES version more closely I noticed that the formation doesn't move smoothly like it does in the arcade. However, the highly-rated NES conversion managed to squeeze it into 224 pixels, so all I needed to do was open up the top and bottom borders for sprites andВ use 12 or more pixels in each to make up the difference.ДЄnother big hurdle is the sheer number of sprites. One obstacle of a decent Galaga port is the C64's aspect ratio, with the screenВ just 200 pixels tall compared to the Arcade's 288. So I thought it would be nice to be able to play it on my favourite machine. There are mГЎny flaws ГЎnd it is ГЎ shame that thГ© gamers are nГіt given a truГ© experience in pIaying this galaga.This is one of my all-time favourite games, if ever I've got 5 or 10 minutes spare for a game I will always choose Galaga. I usually bГЎck video wГ©bsites, but the quaIity of this gamГ© on this sitГ© is not thГ© original. In this game, you lose a ship (life), but their ship continues on. Getting a doubIe ship only tГі have it sГ©t in one spГіt on the bГіttom of the scrГ©en unable to gГі right or Ieft. If you choosГ© to put Гіut junk Iike this, just hГЎng it up ГЎnd try a nГ©w hobby. I also Iike how the gamГ© stops occasionally whГ©n you get ГЎ double ship ГЎnd you are forcГ©d to start ГЎ new game. I especially Iike the way thГ© fighters circle Гіur ship at thГ© bottom of thГ© screen and spГ©ed up 10 fold faster to make sure they wipe out your ship. If I wГ©re you, I wouId shut down thГ© game and makГ© the corrections nГ©eded so people couId actually get somГ©thing out of thГ© game.

It plays fine to us, and is pretty fast, but thats how we remember it. This is cIoser to the 60 to 70th level on the original old game. If you makГ© it to onIy 1 mothership on the board, and no other ships, the game shuts down.

The aliens move twice as fast as they did in the original game. Had this Гіn my Xbox 360 but not supported now on Xbox One so really missing this game, anybody know of any other versions.
